Answer:
One of the most memorable times I helped someone was when I was in a local park and saw a little girl crying. She looked very scared and confused, and it was clear that she was lost and couldn’t find her parents.
At first, I approached her gently and asked if she was okay. She was about 5 or 6 years old, and she could barely speak through her tears. She said she had lost sight of her mom and dad while playing. I knew I had to do something quickly to help her feel safe.
I calmed her down by talking to her softly and offered her some water. Then I took her to the security office at the park. While we were walking, I kept reassuring her that everything would be fine. I also asked her some basic questions to get information about her parents, like what they were wearing and where she last saw them.
Luckily, the park had a public announcement system, and after a short while, her parents came running toward us. The moment the little girl saw them, she ran to them and hugged them tightly. The look of relief on their faces was unforgettable.
This experience made me feel really proud and happy. It reminded me how a small act of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life. I didn’t do anything extraordinary, but just being there and acting quickly helped reunite a family. It’s a moment I’ll never forget.
