Answer:
One of the most vivid childhood memories I have is my first day of school. I was around six years old, and I still remember how excited and enthusiastic I was to finally go to school like the older kids in my neighborhood.
Even before school started, I kept asking my parents questions like “What will my teacher be like?” or “Will I make friends?” I remember waking up super early that morning and putting on my new uniform, which I had been waiting to wear for weeks. I even wore my backpack before breakfast—I was that excited.
My mom walked me to school, holding my hand the entire way. I was smiling the whole time, but as soon as we reached the school gate and I saw all the other children and the big building, I suddenly felt nervous. However, my teacher welcomed me with a warm smile and showed me where to sit, and that made me feel much better.
During that first day, I made a few friends and played with them during recess. I also remember drawing a picture in class and proudly showing it to my teacher. When I got home, I told my parents every little detail of the day—they even said I talked non-stop for an hour!
This memory is very special to me because it was the beginning of my school journey. It was the day I stepped into a new world full of learning, friendship, and fun. Looking back, I’m glad I started my education with so much energy and curiosity. It’s a moment that always brings a smile to my face.
